SPEAK= is an inclusive monthly event that platforms and celebrates LGBTQIA+ poets and spoken word artists, whilst offering professional guidance and support for artists looking to develop their performance and writing practice.

About the event
We are going online! This inclusive event will be run on Zoom and live streamed to our lovely Facebook audience from our Facebook Page. This event will be run with a heightened Safe Space policy and will have a Safe Space Officer on hand to speak to privately during the event.
Tickets are £3 or pay as you feel [use the donation button to pay a customisable amount]- this will help LQW keep going and allow us to support our artists when they need it more than ever.
Online open-mic tickets are available and reserved for LGBTQIA+ identifying performers. If you are an open mic-er ask you to join the event at 7.15pm to give us time to show you the ropes!
If you are an open mic-er but don't want to perform *live* you can submit a pre-recorded video that we will stream during your slot on the live event.
