We had so much to celebrate here for International Women's Day we had to add another day!

International Women's Night will be a fantastic evening of poetry, discussion and theatre, featuring established local female artists.

Featuring Award winning poet Lesley Saunders and Empoword alum Banana Sharma, the night will be MC'd by the incredible TEDx talker, Desree, who will also treat us to her spoken word poetry

This will be followed by a scratch performance of There are Secrets, Dear Sister. A piece developed by Slough based artists Anna Jones and Nisha Anil in partnership with The Curve

There Are Secrets, Dear Sister takes its inspiration from women in Slough now and in our history who have pioneered, fought for change & equality and have never seen the sky as the limit. It is a story about stories and the power of language and literacy to open up world(s).
