Following a sold out debut, Stantons Coffee and Benny Diction bring you the second instalment of Beans, Rhymes & Life, a new daytime event showcasing upcoming talent from the spoken word/rap worlds and beyond.

The venue is Stantons, Enfield’s premier coffee house, located less than a minute from Bush Hill Park station. Here you can absorb the performances in a highly intimate setting, with the finest in coffee and other refreshments.
Due to the intimate nature of the venue, tickets are limited for this event. General admission is £4 and £2 for open mic’ers. Note that there will be NO ALCOHOL available for purchase at this event and that it is suitable for 14+ years old. Anyone below the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, bearing in mind that some of our performers may use profanity and explore adult themes in their work.
For those who want to participate in the open mic, there will be 8 slots available. All ages and disciplines are welcome, be it poets, rappers, singers, musicians, comics or storytellers. Each open mic’er will have a maximum of 5 minutes to do their thing. To secure an open mic place, make sure you select ‘open mic ticket’ and email the host bennydiction@gmail.com.
